Summary
“Mate. Oscar Piastri…” Max began, clearly hoping that something would click in Lando’s brain. Maybe a flicker of recognition in his eyes would appear. But no. Lando was oblivious. Obviously, he knew who the boy was. Rookie f1 driver, one of the youngest EVER. An aussie who clearly knew what he was doing. But he hadn’t heard any RECENT news about him. “He’s coming. To our school.” Max completed his sentence, anticipating Lando’s reaction.
“What? For a talk or something?” Lando speculated, of course, this situation would still be exciting, but it would hardly elicit a reaction close to Max’s.
“No mate. He’s attending. As a student. He’s going to be in our YEAR” Max corrected Lando, observing as said boy’s jaw slowly dropped, his eyes widening in response to the news.
“You’re kidding, right?” Lando scoffed, of course max would make a joke like that at 8:06 in the morning.
OR
Oscar Piastri joins Lando’s small public school in England, as he goes into his rookie year in F1, and Lando LOVES it (and him).

Summary
“Oh uhhh.. I mean.. I have one.. So..” Complete lie. But if you were to ask Lando, he has actually started feeling lonely recently, maybe in a distant world, he has an actual relationship. Unfortunately, he doesn’t in this one.
“Well.. that’s quite a reveal.. What’s her name?” The journalist leaned in.
“haha.. right.. they’re name.. umm. His name is Oscar.. Piastri..” Lando blinked a few times after the name left his mouth. Where in the world was this coming from? Lando hadn’t even messaged Oscar since their earlier encounter. He messed up.
“Oscar? As in, the zookeeper guy?” the interviewers eyebrows perked up in recognition, cautiously looking around in disbelief.
“Yes” at that, Lando felt a hand grab onto his forearm.
“Alright Lando, time to go” The familiar voice of PR rung through Lando’s ears, but his loud thoughts overtook her voice.

Summary
The problem with trying to get over Lando was that he was everywhere, even when he wasn’t around.
That, he supposed, was the problem with falling in love with your roommate, especially one as close as he and Lando were. They were practically inseparable most days, falling in and out of each other’s orbits with practiced ease. Even when they weren’t together at the flat, their belongings and habits had become so irrevocably entwined that sometimes he forgot what it was like to live without him. It had been that way for years now, and honestly, Oscar didn’t know how to separate the two of them without losing a large part of himself in the process.

Or, Oscar is nauseatingly in love with his roommate and it's slowly destroying him. Lando, on the other hand, is absolutely oblivious.

It’s the strongest reaction Lando has seen from him till that “I meant Fewtrell,“ he wheezes and Lando can’t even fight the grin that lays on his lips. “My bad,“ he laughs softly, “yeah, he’s good. Bit of a nobhead but what else is new, huh?“ he jokes and is delighted when he sees Oscar’s eyes crinkle.
