“Moxxie, who the fuck is that?”
Blitzø had told Moxxie he didn’t want another court jester. They had been through a shit ton of them and the last one, Dennis, had been so fucking terrible he’d decided it was a position his castle didn’t fucking need.
“He’s a jester, Your Majesty.” Moxxie provided unhelpfully. “Or maybe he’s a clown.”
The guy was dressed in a goofy ass costume made up of reds, yellows, and blues, with a pointy hat on top of his head and the stupid markings painted on his face. Obviously he was a jester. But he was also freakishly tall and covered in feathers, and Blitzø had never seen him before.
“His name, Moxx. And what the fuck is he doing here?” Blitzø snapped, lower eyelid twitching.

Summary
After five years of a miserable, fruitless marriage to a woman he hates Stolas simply cannot stomach another night of trying for a child that just won't come. Five years after the fire that took everything from him Blitzø is alone, broke and desperate. Being a brand new assassin in Hell is way harder than he'd anticipated and the fear of becoming homeless again is enough to make him consider doing anything, no matter how demeaning. Even being a servant for those stuck up, pretentious assholes, the Ars Goetia. That is, until a contract arrives at his door with a price tag that changes everything. Suddenly being a servant doesn't seem so bad when it puts you close to one of the most expensive targets in Hell. He'd get that damn owl or die trying.Slow burn enemies to lovers romance set five years after the circus fire with cover art. I know it's kind of a common AU idea but it's one I really love so I thought I'd try my hand at it. Hopefully I'm doing it justice!

Summary
Hell is Hell. The place was practically built around suffering but that doesn't mean everyone living there suffers equally; some people clearly have it better than others.
Blitzø is a whore. Not just in the sense that he's promiscuous as hell, but literally. Alone after the fire that killed his family and with fucked up moral obligations that mean he has to keep working no matter what, the imp has gotta do whatever shit he can to keep that money coming in. At least, until someone unexpected shows up to throw his life into chaos.
Prince Stolas dreads his impending arranged marriage. Bound by duty and familial expectations, his future is fixed and no matter how much he might resent it, there is no escaping the gilded chains he was born to wear.
Tensions are growing between the demon elite and Hell's increasingly bitter underclass and in a world of constitutionalised abuse and blatant classism, change is brewing. The pair stand on either side of a rapidly growing schism between the ‘haves’, and the ‘have nots’ and soon they will have to face the fact that, no matter how attracted to someone you might be, some people will always be the fucking enemy.More details in the notes.
