Piper frowned. “Okay….do you know who your godly parent is?”
“Which one? My mum is a god but Phil is kind of like a god. Immortal, cool big wings, badass title, etc.”
“Okay, this is progress.” The daughter of Aphrodite muttered, choosing to save the Phil guys information for later. “Do you know what your mother is the goddess of?”
“Yup, she’s the goddess of death!”

Some people get cool powers like flight, super strength, or even teleportation. The kind of power that people think of when they picture a hero.
Tommy had the power of a living GPS.
Yeah, that kind of put a wrench into his plans to become a hero. But hey, he’s a hero in his own right! If your lost, Big Man Tommy Innit’s has you covered. Though it doesn’t too much against a villain attack.
Despite this, Tommy was content with his life. Maybe he was a good for nothing thief, maybe his brother is the bad person everyone says he is. It didn’t matter, because as long as he gets his brother back nothing else matters.
Though the sky turning red is a bit concerning.

Summary
Two wars. At the age of 14, Nico Di Angelo was a veteran of two wars. Two wars that he helped turn the tides. Did he care if no one knew of his victories? Not particularly. But it doesn't matter. Not anymore. I mean, who would believe that this scrawny kid fought in two wars, is from another dimension, and is the son of a god?
For now, he will play the role as a cultivator. He will pretend to be oblivious, as though his memories had been locked away. For now... he will survive.
But it gets harder to keep his past buried away when he gains new friends. And with the threat of another war, room for secrets quickly begin to shrink.

Instead of killing Macaque, Wukong lets him live. Somewhere along the way, Macaque accidentally gets a child or two…make that four. Sun Wukong doesn't know how to react to this at all. Shenanigans ensue.

Eddie looks out the window in time to watch the Welcome to Illinois! The Prairie State sign go by. His first time out of Indiana, and it’s to join the poor man’s witness protection program with a bunch of fucking vigilantes. Not that Eddie has anything against a little righteous violence, in theory, but despite, like, everything about him and everything about Hawkins and the way the two mixed like water and fucking sodium—boom! Instant hellfire—he’s never even thrown a punch in this dimension. He’s—well, okay, he’s not actually good at running, but he’s good at poking people until they snap and darting smoothly out of biting range, then icing his knees in the privacy of his home.
