A shadow stretches upon the wall and Billy can’t help stop himself from peeking at the danger.
It’s the Scarlet Witch.
Her armor is cracked, dirty, and darkened. She looks… feral, crazed even. Her wild eyes are darting across the room and a shiver goes down his spine as he notices her blackened fingers. He ducks before he can be spotted, but he’s afraid that his pounding heart might betray him all the same.
The woman screams. “I know you’re here, show yourself!”
Billy doesn’t know if he can take on the Scarlet Witch, the only reason he was able to win over Agatha and the rest of the coven is because of his grief and anger. He wasn’t even able to conjure up a spark when he tried to show Agatha that he was fine on his own, and the witch had been powerless, is he ready to take that gamble against Wanda Maximoff?
Or: It's time for Billy's trial, and he isn't sure if he's ready for it.

It doesn't sound hilarious to Jen. It sounds like hell. She'd be grateful too – if she had to read Agatha's mind while they were trapped in a car together she'd probably just open up the closest door and toss herself out into traffic instead.

Agatha trips over a root that seems to come out of nowhere in the middle of the path and goes sprawling facefirst into the Road. The Road is not actually that hard of a road, especially considering all the leaves layered over it, so it's a dry and soft landing, but she still lies there for a second with the awkward silence swelling around her and the rest of the group, wanting to scream.

Jennifer Kale just got her magic back, and she was REALLY looking forward to taking a break from it all. Unfortunately, this random girl is insistent on going back to confront Billy Maximoff for reasons she refuses to tell the Potions Witch.
Thomas doesn't know who he is. Nothing makes sense. Everything feels wrong. He knows that. It's all he knows. Even his name doesn't feel right. He only remembers one name, but he's pretty sure it's not his: "Billy."

Agatha knew the ballad better than anyone. She thought she knew what to expect: a series of trials, each one tailor-made for a specific member of the coven. Sure, her coven was formed under... unusual circumstances, but the core premise was the same. She thought she knew what to expect.
How wrong she was.
(Each chapter picks up directly after an episode of 'Agatha All Along'. Does this mean that this fic will blatantly contradict canon every time a new episode comes out? Yeah, absolutely, but oh well.)
