Summary
Camp Half-Blood is attacked late into the afternoon, just before summer, and it's evident that the attacker tried to frame the Romans.
Nico and Will quickly realize that the attacker will strike again, but with no evidence to go off on the pair decide to do some good old fashioned detective work. Ask around, someone has to know something even if they aren't in New York. Even if they are from a completely different pantheon!
Even if they are a talking sword that heard something he shouldn't have.
Meanwhile, Percy is struggling immensely with the idea of being involved with yet another damn prophecy. Especially after finally getting a handle on his life for crying out loud he just got engaged!
That's the least of his issues as the years of being a Demigod have finally caught up with him as his body is finally showing the damage he's taken. He's not handling it well.(Reading Act 1 isn't really *required* as I should hopefully do a good of enough of a job to explain what happens, but yeah. Sequel to Trials of Apollo because Triumvirate has left a power vacuum and power vacuum means conflict, and conflict means Percy is gonna suffer in some convoluted way.)

Years ago, Stan Pines died under strange circumstances. His body was found, funerals happened, Pa was too ashamed to show up, Shermie too busy, Ma went... so did Ford...
And Ford learned a lot while at the funerals, more than he would have liked to. Like the fact his brother lived out of his car, of all places... At least, the car gave him a way to summon his brother's spirit, to talk one last time! Or it should have. It never worked... Ford kept the car anyways, for old times' sake.
In other news, a little over 30 years later, 13 year old Mabel Pines came back to Gravity Falls a year after her brother stayed back there for an "apprenticeship" with their great uncle Ford or whatever... Meaning she was alone to face their parents' divorce. And even now, her brother ignored her for his "anomalies". No big deal. None at all... Not at all the reason why she tried to leave the home at 1 am, only to be met with a homeless-looking ghost with no memories who decided to haunt her.
At least the nameless ghost is a good friend to prank Gravity Falls with!
