Slowly, odd dreams start to unravel her true heritage and a power that she has to learn to understand. With only one true friend in her corner, she tries to make headway in this new life until one fateful encounter throws the entirety of the world out of balance. (Starts just before the cut off of Book 2 before the infamous crystal cave scene.)

There were several things that Sirius Black liked about dating Stella Abbott.
Firstly, he liked the way that everyone seemed to notice how different she was with him, the way people would look twice when she was grinning up at him. He liked that everyone was crediting her coming out of her shell to him.
Sirius also liked the way the gossip mill seemed to spin around them. It was the first time he’d ever appreciated it, but he liked hearing that people wanted to know more about them. How did they start dating? Since when did Stella start sitting next to him in the common room? Was she wearing her clothes from yesterday? His rumpled button up? He liked knowing the answers to those questions.
But most of all he liked the way she’d kiss him. He liked the excited kiss she’d give him when he helped her prepare for a D.A.D.A practical, the lazy kind of kiss he’d get after she’d had too much butter beer, the affectionate kiss he’d get for seemingly no reason at all.
Since when had Sirius liked dating?

Summary
Cal never expected much of herself to be extraordinary, growing up in the muggle world unsure of herself, it is revealed with 20 other students that she has been hidden away in the Muggle world on the order of the late Dumbledore to be kept safe until the vanquishment of Voldemort. Now returning to Hogwarts, unsure of why her identity warranted her to be kept hidden, at the age of 18 to begin her late magical education. Cal endeavors to maneuver the new magical world she is now part of with a cohort of students set to retake their 7th-year education, including the chosen one Harry Potter. Cal works to understand herself and fully engage with her new magical and hidden identity. However, she finds a certain charming Sirius Black rather distracting in her work.
Set right after the end of the Second Wizarding War, Voldemort is fully vanquished and Hogwarts is set to be repaired and rebuilt. Characters that are not dead but were in the book: Sirius Black, Severus Snape, Remus Lupin, and Tonks.
