Summary
Vastness. That was something she understood far better than anyone else on Voyager. The mostly empty space she had spent the majority of her life scouring in service to the Borg was as familiar to her as her own face. As a drone, she had never pondered its sheer enormity, understanding it only as a thing to be traversed in pursuit of perfection. In the time since her severance from the collective, she realized just how futile that search really was. The Borg’s desire for perfection was vaster than space. Its insatiability was inefficient, a moving target always lurking behind an event horizon.
