It had been six months since Derek left Beacon Hills. Six months since Stiles watched one of his best friends die in front of him only to come back to life and be reborn as a wolf. Lately there had been all sorts of trouble in Beacon Hills, chimeras, and Theo and Dread Doctors. Stiles was at his wits end, how is one person supposed to shoulder all of these crazy events, and to top it all off having his once supposed best friend - his brother in all but blood - believe he was an honest to god murderer and then almost losing his dad.
There was just so much going on it was surprising he hadn’t cracked and called earlier.
“Hello? Stiles, is that you? What’s going on?”

While the Valar were figuring out how to read a calendar, Freya did the math. She got to review the homework before taking the test this time, which was nice, but that made the most likely endgame obvious. She knew from the second she offered to do it that reverse fetch-questing an evil ring was going to be rough. She was trying anyway. Because she was very, very stupid.
She expected to pay a high price for the chance to stay.
She didn’t expect there to be an extra cost at the end.

The deep places of the earth. Vaulted cathedrals filled with Mahal's voice. And the perfect cradle from which to reform two souls; forged anew in synchronous heat and passion...
Only, things aren't going exactly how Thorin Oakenshield, Reformed King Under The Mountain, dreamed. Bilbo is confoundingly...confused. The bond that is tearing apart his very being is in danger of being snuffed out before it's even had much of a chance to begin, and there is far too much political chicanery than is good for his fraying nerves and temper.
And orcs. Definitely too many orcs.
If he is very lucky, he may just manage to woo Bilbo, and possibly save his sanity in the process...
A prompt fill for a Dwarven Courtship story; with lots of feels, a touch of fluff and a mine-cart full of Dwarven culture thrown in for good measure.
And Nori. Because he'd find a way to steal centre stage, regardless.

Cleaning up after dwarves is nothing new to her anymore, but dealing with the memories that seem to sprout up with every step she takes? Maybe they're the reason she can't get herself to close her front door...

A story in which Bilba, returning to Hobbiton and Bag End, has many flashbacks of her time among the Company of Thorin Oakenshield. (The slowest of slow burning burns.)
