Summary
”Like I said…no son of mine will be a homo.” Wait no he can’t do this, he can’t be saying what I think he’s saying. “So if you don’t follow my rules…” another pause, not as long as the other but still long enough to let my head fill with thoughts of what words were going to come out of his mouth. “I’m afraid you won’t have a father anymore.” Those last few words hit me like a truck. I can’t believe what he’s saying, is he actually going to give me up? My legs feel weak, the walls start caving in, and I collapse to the floor basically drowning in tears at this point.
“Please…” I crawl closer to him, enough to reach out and grab his jeans. “Please don’t stop being my father!”

Summary
It was unusual, Nevermore only experienced rain pour here and there, but for some unexplainable reason, the rain earlier poured harder and the winds became stronger.
Eugene was stressed all night. He thought the beehives would be safe, since the rain was not that serious earlier, he was too complacent. The shed survived a lot of rain, even the pet zombie Pugsley kept. He was pacing around his shared dorm room with Pugsley, walking back and forth and nervously looking at the window if the rain stopped pouring.
“They're okay right? I mean the shed will protect them long enough and if the storm stops, I’ll take them in. That’s okay with you right?” Eugene asked Pugsley, as he planned to take the beehives and put them in their short dormitory temporarily.
Pugsley just nodded, he was sitting on the bed feeling angry and disappointed that he could not even help Eugene with his problem.

Summary
“Enid, you’re quiet this evening. Not that I don’t appreciate silent time to write, but it’s unusual of you. Is anything wrong?” Wednesday turned to speak to her, a neutral yet slightly concerned expression on her face, like only she can make.
The interruption pulled her out of her thoughts, and she looked at her girlfriend, who was now walking towards her.
“Oh, um—I’m sorry, I guess I’ve been distracted lately. Exams are… stressful?” She mumbled the last part, not sure if she even believed the excuse she was giving her other half.
“...exams?” Wednesday looked half confused and half annoyed as she asked. “Surely you didn’t expect me to believe that excuse, right?”
Maybe telling Wednesday that she can’t focus because she’s thinking of how her brother could potentially be in a relationship with his roommate isn’t the best idea. So instead, Enid settled for:
“No, I’m sorry. I just can’t focus for some reason. Not sure why, though.”
Or
Enid suspects that Pugsley and Eugene are dating, so she goes into a full investigation around school to confirm her suspicions.
