Summary
A hundred years after the fall of Hyrule to Calamity Ganon, and the hero Link has finally sealed the darkness and freed the Divine Beasts of their curse - and with it, their pilots are finally free. But not just as spirits.
Awake once again, the four Champions of old have a second chance at life and must re-adjust to this future world with their decendants.
Well - all except for one Champion, who doesn't have a decentant. Or even anyone left alive that knew him.Teba is happy to take in his revived ancient idol as one of his own, but sharing a living space with a hundred year old Champion with an ego the size of his divine beast and who might have some issues he's not willing to share can be a lot sometimes and they don't always see eye to eye.
Revali thinks he should return to leading the new generation of Rito warriors. Teba thinks this actual child should never have been leading warriors or fighting a war in the first place.
Tulin is just excited to have the infamous Rito Champion in his house.

...But all the same, it takes a serious effort of will not to try to find an excuse to rush out of the room when she notices Berdly lingering after class. Berdly was a.... good kid! He worked hard. He was... academically.... motivated....

For the longest time, there was nothing. Perhaps a dream here or there, or maybe memories? Link wasn’t so sure anymore. The only concrete thing he could grasp amongst his dreams was a grainy yet strong silhouette of a bird-like being that held a large bow between its feathery hands. However, if he dared to get any closer, the being would always be a hair out of his reach. Link could only ever just barely see the bird’s fiery emerald stare and tight but warm smile. Never once did the bird speak, that was at least until Link had dared to venture too close.
“You know, Link, it’s been rather indulgent of you to keep us waiting so long.”
Basically, a retelling of breath of the wild, except Link and Revali were childhood friends.

Revali has been having *issues* lately and he is finally beginning to grow concerned.
Now he doesn’t usually like to admit his own flaws, not even to himself, (which of course are few and far in-between), but there comes a time where even HE must, with great reluctance, address certain personal matters when they grow pressing enough. Which this one has.
After much deliberation, he may be able to concede that there is a distinct and very real possibly that he is losing his goddess-damned plucking mind...
-A story in which Revali grows increasingly more obsessed with shiny things and he Doesn't. Know. Why. (he also grows closer to a certain chosen hero in the meantime. No correlation... Probably)

Revali slowly turned to stare hard at Link, dots slowly connecting in his mind. “If you’ve been purposefully dirtying yourself because of that, I’m going to throw you out a window”.
Link’s guilty chuckle was not a good answer.
And that’s why Revali was trying to throw Link out the window when Teba arrived to ask where the basin was. No Teba, Revali hasn’t snapped and proclaimed war on the hylians, just the one. No Teba, Revali’s not going to kill him as soon as you turn your head. Yes Teba, the hylian was asking for it.
In which Link is not a knight, and the things it changes.

“I don’t understand,” he says, and his arms are wrapped around himself now, as if he is cold. They are in Hebra, yes, but he can’t help but feel as if the cold has nothing to do with how he is beginning to shiver.
“What do you mean you don’t understand?” Revali demands, turning back to him, his glare even deeper on his face than before. “I’ve expressed myself clearly to you many times before - it is no fault of mine that you see yourself as better than I simply because of the sword on your back. Surely you cannot blame me for cutting my losses here - I’ve wasted enough time on you as it is.”
“I-I don’t understand,” Link repeats, because for once, he truly doesn’t know how it was that he didn’t please this individual. He thought he understood, before, but Revali has grown more and more upset, and Link simply does not understand what he has done wrong to cause this.
He wants to fix this.
It is the first time in his life he can ever truly remember wanting something.
It is as his vision begins to blur (he doesn't know why) that Revali’s expression shifts.
“Oh,” the Rito says, and suddenly, his face is no longer stuck in a glare, but in horror, and a deep, deep sadness in his eyes. “Oh, no.”Series
