“Tommy, come on, this will be good for you. You’ve been cooped up here for too long, you need to look for a better home” his voice was stern but understanding, having a hint of empathy in his tone. He can feel the angry tears spill from his eyes, rubbing at his cheeks angrily.
Ridding the evidence of weakness from his features, his pale cheeks turned bright red in frustration. “Fuck off, Dickhead!” he yells, feeling dread bubble in his stomach at the noticeable warble in his voice from crying. He hated feeling weak, he made it a point to never show his deep feelings with the foster parents he's been around.

Everything the nurses had told him was completely and utterly false. It was all a massive load of bullshit.
Nobody cared that Tommy didn’t believe them. They didn’t care that he said he didn’t remember anything they were telling him had happened.
Instead, he’d been introduced to the fucker who was currently driving Tommy out to the middle of nowhere. They all claimed that this bulky, pink-haired man with bright red eyes was Tommy’s sire and now had legal custody of him.
It didn’t make any sense, because Tommy definitely wasn’t a vampire.

Summary
Though he never wanted to be the one to train Tommy, he was grateful his little sun asked as it gave him an opportunity to strengthen his own muscles again. It was amazing how fast it came back as he sparred with his younger brother, remembering how it felt in the old days when he was crossing blades with the members of his sounder in preparation for the next big siege.
He didn’t regret what he left behind, but he couldn’t help being nostalgic seeing the little signs of what he used to know in every swing of Tommy’s sword or each strengthening exercise they performed together.
The sunlight glinted off Tommy’s golden hair, reminding Techno that the gold that was most precious to him was no longer jewelry but instead his baby brother.

Technoblade returns from his pilgrimage to find the sole remaining member of his family and for both their sakes he makes a choice to leave the nether for the safety of the overworld.

The shulk nodded, “Yeah. Not sure how long it’s had it, but someone spotted it. Might’a snatched it off someone who had docked here for a while, or maybe it’s been hiding it in the trees since it got here, who knows. But I reckon there ain’t much of the kid left at this point"
“What-” Phil broke off, inhaling deeply. “What was the child, do you know?” He asked.
Unfortunately, things took a terrible, jolting turn when the shulk answered. “Elytreen chick, I think. Little downy feather wings an’ everything.”
