In hindsight, maybe Hax should've paid more attention during media training. The joke—recurring conspiracy—was that the Games were 10% about physical performance, knowing how to run and survive and kill, and 90% about putting on a good show for the Capitol, being memorable and compelling and interesting. Someone they had to keep alive, no matter the price of sponsorship.

Staff nights out had never been Feinberg's thing, no parties have been— especially not now. Surrounded by what must be nearing one hundred heroes and a Cryo who had managed to end up here. Even if by a technicality he was a hero, he never let his guard down whilst talking with his 'coworkers', there was always a chance he would let a piece of information slip through a gap otherwise. He had spotted Cryo whilst he had been watching the door, keeping check on who came in and out, he was coming into the room arm in arm with Infume and glancing around the hall as though someone would recognise him within seconds. Though, his unease was not fully unfounded, someone did recognise him. Luckily, it was Fein and not one of the actual heroes.

They had just returned from a secret week-long quest, one that Parrot had insisted on. Seven days risking their lives, gathering some bullshit resource Parrot swore was important, only for him to hand it all out at spawn behind Theo’s back. Something about how it would “save the server.” Theo always found Parrot’s dedication weirdly admirable, somewhat charming. But he’d hoped – just once –that Parrot would think of himself. Think of them. Keep at least some of the profit. Not coming home empty-handed like a martyr. To say Theo was fuming was an understatement, he was livid.
OR
Theo just want's Parrot to think about himself for once and accidentally lets his emotions slip.
