“I’m nothing like you!” he yells, but Mira eyes are unwavering.
“What exactly do you want me to do?” His tone seemingly softens changing his approach to her reason. Maybe it was defeat, but he wasn’t ready to admit any of that yet.

Summary

Instead of the peaceful utopia promised to her, the city narrowly survives a terrorist attack. Unwilling to sit and watch her sister’s future burn, Nesta accepts a job at her brother-in-law’s Private Military Company: Illyrium. Unfortunately, that involves facing the overly confident, highly trained and utterly annoying: Captain Cassian.

“This bathroom’s occupied, in case you were too stupid to tell,” she says sweetly, not even bothering to cover herself. It’s not like he hasn’t seen everything, anyways.
There’s a beat of silence, during which Shouma should leave, but he doesn’t.

With the air conditioner on the fritz, the base is hopelessly hot in the summer. The gym, most of all. Needless to say, your clothes had long since soaked through with sweat and you were thoroughly looking forward to a cold shower when this was all over and done with.
Though, when you see the way Simon's shirt sticks to his chest...well, you'll live if you postpone your shower for a bit. Just for a little while. Just long enough to get another glance.
