Did Regina George know Rodrick Heffley? Of course, she knew Rodrick Heffley—he was the reason she was only *half* a virgin when she met Aaron Samuels, after all.
Does that mean she wants his weird little band playing at her Halloween party? No! But what choice does she have? The actually "fetch"—as Gretchen would say, despite Regina's disapproval—band she'd hired dipped less than a week before her Halloween party. Really, was catching mono that serious? She managed to make it to prom last year with a broken back—it's called priorities!
But for whatever reason or if for a little manipulation, he agreed to play at her party. He was her only option for live music, and radios were so last year, so she would just have to grin and bear it for the six days she's forced to be around him again. And after it was all said and done, she could say "bye-bye!" to Rodrick one final time, and never think about him again.
