Summary
Lili takes a job at one of the city’s most prestigious restaurants determined to survive on professionalism alone.
She’s learned what happens when you need someone too much.
Nate, the restaurant’s head pâtissier, works under constant scrutiny—measured, judged, and praised only when he’s flawless. He doesn’t do safe. He doesn’t do careful. And he definitely doesn’t do attachments that could cost him everything.
In a place where mistakes are cut away without mercy, the most dangerous thing isn’t failure—it’s wanting.

Summary
Pomni had a hatred for jumpscares; not only are they cheap scares, but they're also impossible not to get scared of. So when Caine's new adventure involved placing the circus inside a horror cabin in the woods excursion, she finds herself in a nightmare position. Worst of all, it was Jax's suggestion in the first place. Pomni dreaded whatever messed-up plan the bunny had come up with to land her in this situation.

From that moment on, he seems to have his sights set on her, and the rest of the trip becomes a game of looks, tension, and temptation on the open sea.
Or
Jax can't stop undressing Pomni with his eyes and she gets curious.
