Summary
At the height of fame and desperate for the paparazzi to get off his back, Ren Zotto needs someone who doesn't care about his singer persona or someone who doesnt have him on a pedestal. Kyo Kaneko was an overworked VFX Artist who accidentally pushed himself too hard and is bored out of his mind waiting in recovery. Why can't his body just get the memo and move on already? The two meet through Scarle and become strange but fast friends. Ren feels like a normal person around Kyo when he doesn't hesitate to insult him on every single thing he does and Kyo likes that Ren backs off when he doesn't want to be molly coddled.

Kyo wobbles on his feet; the battered pipe he'd been using as a makeshift weapon dangles loosely from his fingers. He looks over at Ren with a slanted flash of teeth.
"How's that...for...scrappy..."
The pipe clatters to the floor with Kyo's knees, and Ren's world screeches to a halt-
(Or, Kyo gets injured fighting one of Ren's battles, and Ren makes a decision regarding the future.)
