Summary
"What are you doing here alone?”
The words slip past his lips before he even realizes.
The angel turns. His flower crown tilts, delicate petals crumpled in his hands.
He lifts his face, brows furrowing, a frown settling between them. The wind teases his golden hair, strands glinting like spun light. Jay studies him carefully, taking in every detail.
The boy stares back, and something changes in his gaze. Familiarity. Disbelief. As if he, too, recognizes something.
The air thickens. Jay feels the hair at the back of his neck rise.
“You’re not from here, are you?” The angel asks, voice gentle, like a choir’s song. The sound makes Jay shiver.
And then he feels it– the searing burn on his wrist.
Jay has found his soulmate. And it’s an angel.

Summary
Jungwon's always been a little... extra sensitive when it comes to smells.
He's always been pretty straight-laced too.
Just ask his girlfriend, Mel.
He's totally not into guys.
Definitely not into a guy with a girlfriend, who smells... particularly good.
A bit TOO good.
(TLDR; Jungwon finds himself unable to resist the alluring smell of his new hyung, Jay.)

Summary
“You’re killing them,” Jungwon repeats.
A beat passes. To Jungwon’s immense surprise, the god steps back, until only his sandals are touching the ground.
“Apologies.” The sound of his voice is startling. It is deep and hoarse, rattling from his throat as if it has not been put into use for a while. “Is that better?”
(or: sheltered in the world of the living and numb to the life that surrounds him, jungwon learns what it truly means to be alive when the god of death, jay, stumbles upon his garden)

Summary
“That rabbit’s foot has been working, then. I’m glad.”
“I make my own luck. You’ve got nothing to do with it.”
Jay grins, widely, like Jungwon is the most interesting person he’s talked to all day. “You really hate me, huh?”
Jungwon’s skin itches under his gaze, crawling with heat. “Competition isn’t personal,” he replies. “It’s the natural order of things.”
“Huh.” Jay laughs a little at this. Draining the last of his mug, he leans over to press their shoulders together. “Guess I’ll try to beat you too, then.”
“It’s on.”

Summary
“Yep, that’s Jake,” Jay had told him once, pausing the accursed video Jungwon had taken of the experience to zoom in on the stranger’s face. “He’s one of Heeseung-hyung’s friends. Don’t know much more than that. Seems cool.”
Standing before Sunoo now, Jake definitely does appear “cool,” in some sense of the word. He’s older than Sunoo – likely a year above him, at least. His stance is relaxed, his expression chipper, and he seems to actually want to be here, which is more than Sunoo can say for his past group project partners. Of all the people he could have been paired with for this final assignment, this certainly isn’t a bad one to land with.
Now if only Sunoo hadn’t drunkenly waxed poetry about the guy’s bone structure to his face at a random party surrounded by multitudes of people.

“Which one is it?” Jay asks, so solemnly Jake has no idea whether to laugh or worry.
“Huh?”
“There are two people sitting at thirteen. Which one is the guy you were talking about?”
“The older one?” Jake stammers. “On the left.” Unhelpfully, he holds up the glass of soda. “He got the coke.”
Just as abruptly as it arrived, all the tension drains from Jay’s expression. “Oh, good. Because I call dibs on the other one.”

Summary
Jungwon feels the base of his cock grow bigger, stretching him full. He gasps at the feeling. “W-Wait, Jay! Are you–?”
“Fuck.” Jay cries brokenly and pushes as deep inside as he can, making Jungwon cry out from sensitivity and pain. That’s– That’s a knot. Without a doubt.
Jay just knotted him. In a fucking public restroom.
Basically — Jay and Jungwon act like they hate each other but are secretly hooking up. During a night out, Jay fingers him under the table then fucks him in the bathroom and accidentally pops a knot in him.

“Hey! Stop the car!” the strange, distant voice shouts again and Sunghoon turns around and squints out the window to where the sound is coming from, and suddenly, there’s this tall, gangly creature running behind their car, a pair of goggles propped up on his forehead and a massive backpack slung over a shoulder, and fuck, is Sunghoon experiencing a caffeine-induced hallucination?

Summary
“You look good,” he blurts. Like an idiot.
Surprise crosses Jay’s face. It smooths out quickly. “So do you.”
“Oh, please.”
His ex-boyfriend is a hunky lawyer who represents clients while dressed in luxury brands on a daily basis. Meanwhile, Jungwon has worn the same, raggedy scrubs for a week now, hasn’t washed his hair in days, and is sneaking into said ex’s high-rise apartment building to steal back his delivery of three packets of sour cream and onion chips. He knows how this looks on paper.

Summary
"It's not your fault," he manages, squeezing Jungwon's shoulder in an attempt at comforting him. "Not at all. Please don't apologise to me for something that's out of your control. I mean, come on, it's a fucking curse because apparently those exist now. There's nothing you could do."
"I guess." He's still not making eye contact with Jay. "I'm just sorry that you've been dragged into this mess." He snorts humourlessly. "And now you're gonna have to be attached to me for literal months."
"It won't be so bad," Jay says, shocked to find that he means it. "Considering," he puts on a brave face, "considering it's us, right?"
Jungwon looks up at that, face set in wariness. "Yeah," he says slowly, eyes scanning Jay's face. "Yeah, considering it's us."

Summary
But Jay had never put much stock into supernatural premonitions. He pushes the door anyway.
At first he doesn’t see anything, just the door extending into empty space. Then he spies—
“Jungwon,” he exhales.
Another moan from the figure currently on all fours on the floor. Or all threes, to be exact. One of Jungwon’s hands is clutching his throat. His nails are digging in hard enough that there’s small rivulets of blood meandering down his neck. Black blood.
–
Or: Jay volunteers to be Jungwon's secret blood bag. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

Summary
Jungwon moves to pull out the axe and Jay's eyes rake over him. The serenity isn't an affectation. There's a slight tremor in his legs but it must be adrenaline more than anything else. His face is cool, relaxed. There's nothing in his face to indicate he's scared or apprehensive. He looks perfectly in his element.
Not for the first time, Jay gets the sense that he and Jungwon are two worlds apart. What is new is the sense of danger.
Or: Somewhere between Seoul and Busan, Jay and Jungwon find each other.

Summary
Jay shook his head, biting back a grin as he turned to grab Jungwon’s takeout box. “Here’s your reward, Superhero.”
“Actually, I’ve been thinking,” Jungwon said, leaning forward again, now with a glint of mischief in his eye. “Maybe you’re my reward.”
Jay blinked, then tilted his head. “Your what?”
“My post-saving-the-day reward,” he said, keeping his eyes locked on Jay. “You know, like how some people go to the gym and then get a protein shake? I get a Jay.”
Jay looked at him like he was malfunctioning. “You get a what?”
Jungwon grinned. “You. Here. Behind the counter. Looking like that. It’s the highlight of my week.”

Summary
Jungwon made a noise halfway between a groan and a sigh. “Can we just enjoy the fact that no one’s talking at us? That we’re not being forced to run, or organize something, or listen to Sunghoon try and rhyme ‘arse’ with ‘class’ again?”
“Oi, don’t jinx it,” Jake warned lazily.
And of course, as if summoned by the gods of mischief and juvenile attention spans.
“ALRIGHT, WHO LET THE HEADBOY OUT IN PUBLIC WITHOUT SUPERVISION?”
Jungwon didn’t even have to look. The voice was already enough to spike his blood pressure.

“I’m not really watching you,” Jay says, trying to sound nonchalant. “Just looking at the flowers. Which happen to be in your general direction.”
“Flowers are prettier when you look at them up close, you know.”
“What… what’s that supposed to mean?”
The gardener smiles. “What I meant to say is, you’re free to come closer if you’d like. Admire the flowers from a nearer distance. I wouldn’t mind.”

Summary
Jungwon didn’t grow up wanting to be seen.
He grew up learning to make himself small.
It started young — not in a dramatic way, not with the kind of pain that made headlines or documentaries. Just in the quiet, ordinary kind of hurt that settles into your bones when you grow up in the gaps of other people’s exhaustion.
Jay had been to too many fashion shows to care about any of them.
He came because sometimes — rarely — something new appeared on the runway. Not in fabric, not in trend, but in someone’s face. A raw kind of presence. A story sewn into posture and silence.
That, he still cared about.Everything else? Noise.
As soon as he entered the museum venue, he felt the shift.
Heads turned. Cameras lifted. Smiles stretched too wide. Suddenly, everyone remembered how to greet with both hands. He kept his expression polite — unreadable. The same one he used in press interviews and shareholder meetings. It looked like charm, but it was armor.
Then Jay Park saw him. Really saw him. He didn’t offer Jungwon a deal, just respect — something rare and unexpected.

Summary
Love was supposed to be something close. That’s what Jungwon’s parents said. Something you could feel even when the other person wasn’t beside you. Something you never had to chase or beg to be remembered. Something soft, but sure.
This didn’t feel like that.
Jay didn’t forget on purpose.
He just didn’t remember on purpose either.
And somehow, that made all the difference.or a story where Jungwon finds himself thrown into the messy, confusing world of love and relationships, only to realize he doesn’t know as much as he thought he did.
A slow unraveling of pride, heartbreak, and learning what it really means to care.
