Summary
When Izuku was 15, the world knew him as the sweet, talented ward of the Bakugou family who had the misfortune to not have any talent in the magicks they called quirks. Despite all his efforts in research and study, he'd never be able to join their ranks as a proper warrior.

Summary
He glances back at the red curtains. This one will do, right? He can’t see Xie Lian, but somehow he can sense his husband’s approval. Hua Cheng grits his teeth to stop himself from shaking.
“You,” he says and points at a random ghost. The ghost isn’t any more human-like than the last, and approaches in hurried, clumsy steps. Hua Cheng looks at it up and down, his gaze stopping at the loose black pibo around its shoulders. Despite the accessory, its robes are styled for a man. “That pibo. Bring it to me.” The ghost scrambles to comply. Hua Cheng doesn’t move a finger to accept it. Instead, “Tie it around my eyes. Now.”
The ghost hesitates. Hua Cheng’s glare makes it yelp. He closes his eye, and soon all light disappears. The fabric isn’t of high quality. It makes his nose itch. Hua Cheng won’t be picky, though. Gege is waiting.
He points at another direction. “You. Take off my outer robe.”
Xie Lian finds an interesting way to deal with Hua Cheng's self-esteem issues. It's a lot more pleasurable than Hua Cheng thought it'd be.
