“Enid did something happen to Wednesday?,” Tyler forced the words out as his claws fought to emerge as he gripped the phone tight enough to creak the plastic.
All his thoughts were just one word on repeat and that was Wednesday’s name.
“We don’t know,” Enid told him, her voice shaky. “She’s missing.”
Did she just say Wednesday was missing? Like officially missing?
“Missing?,” Tyler echoed a growl slowly building up in his chest underlining his words. “What the hell do you mean by missing? She’s Wednesday fucking Addams. She can’t go missing. That’s impossible.”
“That’s what I said,” Enid choked out. “But she’s gone. Her parents called me first to check if she was with me but she wasn’t. I’m not sure I should say this,” Enid’s voice grew hushed. “But Tyler, they were genuinely scared.”
It took a lot to scare an Addams and the knowledge that something bad enough happened to Wednesday to scare her whole family made Tyler start to officially panic.
Wednesday everything in him seemed to scream.
