Summary
Derek’s known for a long time. He’s ignored it for a long time. But when Stiles returns from his first year at college and a sudden supernatural phenomenon forces them to work together for the first time in a year, it hits Derek like a bullet, and he’s thrown into an unstoppable frenzy.
The guy hates him. Derek’s made sure he does. So the fact that he’s suddenly fumbling in through his bedroom window, shaking and sweating and breathing heavily and just about delirious at the overwhelming smell and sight of Stiles in front of him, doesn’t make sense to either of them.
OR: the fic where Derek’s known from the beginning that Stiles is a compatible mate, but has tried his best to keep it a secret, for multiple reasons. And he manages that, until his body finally betrays him years later.
