Yennefer has been a member of the Thanedd's Wolves for nearly ten years. She desperately wants to quit, but perhaps her boss Geralt doesn't entirely have her best interests at heart. When she meets Tissaia during an adrenalin filled morning, she's overcome with shock and awe. Tissaia, an internist who seems to have her life perfectly in order, inspires her to restart her life and become the person she wants to be - but all is not as it seems and the road is long and filled with many horrors and challenges for both of them.
This story explores some heavy themes such as anger, murder, both committing and being a victim of (sexual-) violence, PTSD and abandonment. It is written from the perspective of the characters who may not always have and/or use the right words. Please mind the tags.

Slow burn from Four Marks which diverts at What Is Lost when Tissaia helps Yennefer escape before Cahir’s execution. They (eventually) live happily ever after. Basically me needing to fix things after watching S02.
TW for self harm (comparable to the show), blood and blood transfusion. I get icked by blood transfusion a bit and will put a note in of how to avoid it when we get to that chapter.
