Rintaro thinks this might be the fundamental difference between them. This thing that he will never understand about Osamu, this thing that Osamu will never understand about him.
"I'm not from a place like this," he says, shoving his frostbitten fingers into the pocket of his sweatshirt, staring upwards at the Amagasaki sky. "Look- Osamu, before this, I was a nobody from a nowhere. I don't wanna be that anymore. So... I don't got to be, like, sentimental for my hometown or whatever. I'm better than that now."
All his life, Suna Rintaro has been looking for the right place. This time around, he wonders if maybe he's found it.

How is that even around anymore? Shouldn’t that be dead and buried? Burned, shredded, archived? It should really be illegal for anybody to read that. There should be swift implementation of some sort of censorship law. Tenma barely remembers writing it. He does remember starting it shortly after New Years, but how, how, had he ever had the time, the energy, the space, the nerve, to finish it? To even submit it? It’s not like he ever thought it would win, or that actual people would read it.
Not unlike the protagonist of the one shot manga that got him his start, rising star Udai Tenma needs to deal with some ghosts.

Summary
In an instant Suna Rintarou’s career feels like it’s over. His shoulder is injured and while the doctor might be optimistic, he’s not.
Where can he go for recovery, but to Osamu's? His place has always been where he goes when he has any time off. Osamu has always been home. However, navigating their relationship, situationship, friends with benefits, best friends thing is messy. Messier after the last time they slept together and Rin had confessed to catching feelings.
So, Suna finds himself recovering his shoulder, smoking cigarettes, and sleeping next to Osamu while trying to navigate his own complicated feelings.

sakusa isn’t sure what exactly he’s buying from osamu: it’s either his silence about his intent to propose to atsumu, his blessing to actually propose, or his approval to stay in their lives forever. whatever it is, though, it costs him three high-end dinners, putting up an onigiri miya flyer in the statistic building's staff room, and a box of ten thousand yen strawberries.
sakusa's not sure what atsumu’s going to be madder about: that he’s buying ten thousand yen fruits again or that he’s only worth one box.
