Butters messed up. He messed up bad.
His life is over. The only way out of this, he thinks, is to run away. He needs to hop on a train and go far, far away, where no one will find him. Of course, once he runs into his good friend who just so happens to live next to the tracks, things don't exactly go according to plan.
"I- I can't stay anymore," Butters whispers, and saying it out loud makes fresh, burning tears well up again. "Not after what I did. They'll lock me away forever once they find me."
Kenny looks him over. As always, just like since elementary school and beyond, it feels like he can see straight through him. "Okay. I'll come with you."
Kenny holds out his hand. And, of course, Butters takes it.
