“No!” he now says in fear. “Please Alyosha, do not leave! He will come back if you leave. It is only you who makes him go away!” Ivan says in delirium.

“Where is justice Bruce! Where is your sacrifice? He yells again, almost mad with rage. “You have your weapon now, I bet you didn’t think it would turn against you like that though.” He says chuckling and covering his head with both his hands as if ready to burst into tears.
“Jason-”
“You think I want to kill?” he continues his voice sounding like it did when he was fifteen, vulnerable and pained and tired. His tears almost ready to spring forth from his now green eyes. “You think it is easy? That I don’t have to live with my choices and be tormented by them every fucking second of every fucking day?” he looks down and huffs trying to collect himself. Bruce doesn’t dare speak, he simply watches his son descending deeper and deeper into a hell of his own making, the one Bruce guided him towards.
“They deserve to die!” he yells looking at Bruce, almost as if trying to justify his choices to him, defensive and angry and hurt. “That doesn’t mean it doesn’t kill me that I am the one to do it.”
This story follows the events of the movie Under the Redhood (2010).

“I wish to go back.” Achilles whispers from beside me.
“Go back where?” I ask, knowing that no matter where he wishes to go, we won't be able to, that this will become another failed desire in an array of hundreds of doomed wishes from our past.
“To those summers.” he whispers, eyes downcast, sad and mournful like a mother’s tears.
“I know.” I say and hold his hand. He grips it tighter.
“I do not want to change anything in them.” he continues his voice shaking. “I simply want to feel them again. I’m convinced we’ll never be as happy as we were during those days.”

That means I am by myself.” He whispers.
He can see Rin’s eyes widen at that, ready to defend himself perhaps or utter some fake comfort.
“I’m alone in...”
“Don’t say that!” Rin answers quickly his eyes worried. “Perhaps we won’t compete together in the next championship, but we’ll be together, nonetheless. We’ll be together for all of it. In the world stage.”
Haru’s eyes are cold when they address him again.
“Together you say?” he tells him, smiling joylessly. “Like we were together all these years ago when you left for Australia, or that other time when you declared you’d quit swimming and then left again!”
Or a reimagining of the fight between Rin and Haru and then some resolution in the next chapters.
Second chapter is a reimagining of the Haru fainting scene but Rin is also there this time.
