Summary
Transmigrating into a Dragon Spirit, of all things, was the least thing Shen Yuan expected to happen after choking on a meatbun. He feels elated, until he realises that he has to make do with being stuck in Proud Immortal Demon Way, and the fact that the responsibility of stopping a certain bloodthirsty protagonist falls onto his shoulders.

Yue Qingyuan is at a loss. Waking up in the room that had burned down along with the rest of the sect with a terrible headache is not exactly the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about the afterlife.
Seeing Shen Qingqiu - Xiao Jiu - on his own two feet again after all that's happened, he wants nothing more than to stay by his side.
He realises he has never truly treasured the time he spent with Shen Qingqiu, and now that the clock's ticking he is all the more aware of the things he will lose, of the simple things he may never experience again - all due to a demon lord's shitty childhood.
Trying to cheat fate is certainly not something one casually does - especially if you're a side character in a trashy stallion novel ( But he doesn't know that)

Summary
Dr. Ratio is trapped in an ever-looping dream where he has garnered the sacred gaze of Nous, following the triumphant launch of his anti-planetary weapon—and has been inducted as the latest member of the Genius Society.
He hates it.
He wants to blow his brains out with a gun to escape the dream.
But he can't.
The reason: he meets the Past and Future(?) Aventurines, little Kakavasha and the more outspoken, unfiltered gambler who Ratio only see glimpses of whenever the Aventurine of the waking world is too stressed and mentally weak to hide his own inner demons. Ratio decides to stay in the dream for these two, intending to heal them, and perhaps in the process, mend the man fragmented by these neglected aspects of his psyche.
However, Ratio eventually discovers that the person most in need of healing is, in fact, himself.

She really looks a lot like Veritas—the same hair, the same eyes—the only difference being her much rounder features. She looks around seven or eight, which sticks out to him, considering Veritas doesn’t seem to be any older than his mid-twenties.
“Didn’t expect to see you here,” Veritas says, looking a little suspicious.
“I, uh, yeah, I live here.” Aventurine laughs nervously, gesturing to the door he’d been leaning against.
