It’s a strange thing to look at himself in the mirror and not really recognise the person he sees there.
It’s weird seeing his body so unblemished. It’s weird seeing himself looking so wholesome. He still feels anything but, but he guesses that this is part of the recovery. This is one of the steps in the right direction.
And now that he looks better, he just has to find a way to feel better.

Motvillig merket jeg at jeg var på vei ut av søvnen. Jeg åpnet øynene. Rommet mitt var mørklagt, men lysene utenfra trengte gjennom persiennene og gjorde at jeg kunne se konturene av skapet og en av gitarene. Gulvet rett under vinduet lyste opp så sterkt at jeg måtte smalne øynene. Jeg kunne høre lyder fra gaten, og det var en masse bevegelser der ute som gjorde at lyset på gulvet, og på den ene veggen, vibrerte. Alt ved å ha øynene åpne var slitsomt. Jeg lukket dem igjen, forsøkte å tømme hjernen for innhold og gli inn i søvnen igjen, men det gikk ikke. Jeg hadde sovet så å si hele dagen. Nå hadde tydeligvis kroppen min bestemt, mot min vilje, at jeg ikke skulle få fred på en stund.
Evens tanker. Hans kamp med seg selv for å tro på at han er bra nok. En mer og mer dialogdreven historie om Even og Isak, men også flere av karakterene i Skam-universet. Dette er det jeg prøver på i denne ficen, samt hele veien å få historien til å stemme med klippene fra slutten av sesong 3 og gjennom sesong 4.Series

Even’s stable and feels like he’s on top of things.
He gets a decent amount of sleep, he doesn’t drink, he doesn’t take any drugs. He takes his meds 2 times a day 12 hours apart like he’s supposed to.
He loves going to uni, he loves going to work and he loves his apartment. His life is good, regulated and on schedule. He’s in as much control as he possibly can be.
The only irregularity is Isak.

Even is a Spring. He’s new life. Renewal. Hope. Good things. It follows him everywhere he goes, seeping out of him like he has no idea how to control it.Isak can’t take his eyes off of him. It’s intoxicating, the way he exudes happiness and warmth in a way that should be typical of a Summer, but somehow seems to suit him just right. But just watching him makes Isak’s own body run colder, the icicles that have taken up a permanent home on his hands weaving more intricate designs than usual. It’s the same response as he once had with Jonas, but this time, Even does not have the heat to break the pattern. Isak knows that if he even dares get closer to Even he will ruin him, just as is the natural order of things. Winter kills plants. Winter kills Spring.
tldr; in a world where u are assigned a Season at birth which defines your magic, isak is a Winter, even is a Spring. they shouldn't work. somehow they do.Series
