Summary
An errant wish from Ben on the wrong mystic artifact manages to reshape reality as he knows it. He wakes up in a version of Auradon where he isn’t king – isn’t even royalty – but the barrier has fallen and the Isle reforms were still enacted under the current rule.
It wasn’t a bad life, he guessed. It was significantly quieter, and distressingly lonely since none of his friends or family knew who he was, but at least Chad was in the same boat as him, having somehow gotten caught up in the wish.
Together, they make it work. Just a quiet life in the suburbs. No muss, no fuss.
And then they run into Aziz.
ALSO KNOWN AS – A post-D3 canon rewrite sort of monstrosity that like most of my projects spiraled wildly out of control. The adventures of practical Ben learning how to chill and Cinnamon Roll Chad learning he can have friends. The world – for better or worse – is fundamentally changed by this.

Chad doesn’t make the rules, he just lives by them, so when a drunken Jay tries to upset the natural order of things by magically making Chad jones for his bones, the only logical solution Chad has is to enchant Jay right back until they can find a way to fix the problem. Obviously, they have to keep this a secret. While traveling Auradon. And dealing with pirates.
…The things Chad did for asshole acquaintances.

Summary
When Chad was shipped off to stay with Ben for the summer for nebulous bonding purposes, Chad thought great, at least he could get some reading done. Only it turned out that Ben was a hyperactive monkey who couldn’t sit still and let Chad read the beautiful bounty of books in Queen Belle’s library, so they made a deal.
It was a stupid deal.
But Ben was young and hormonal and wanted to practice kissing someone before he had to unleash his dumb self onto the princess populous of Auradon Prep, so through what could only be considered lunacy, he convinced Chad to play along with him. If they practiced kissing, Chad would get books.
There was no way this could possibly go wrong.
Also known as: The adventures of Ben the not-so-subtle smooth operator and Chad the perpetually oblivious bookworm, who wasn’t actually a bookworm, at least as far as anyone else was concerned.
