Summary
Time was a tricky thing. For him it had been only yesterday when he was crossing a street at noon on August 19th, 1977, going to buy a birthday cake. He remembered as if it were happening now the pain he had felt when the car hit him, and the weird sensation of flying for a couple of seconds, thrown forwards by the impact. But, according to the calendar on the wall, for the rest of the world it was now July 9th, 1981.

Summary
After Brian breaks his wrist a few days before Queen is supposed to start a massive world tour in celebration of their 50th Career Anniversary, the band reluctantly agrees on searching for a backup guitarist to step in if Brian’s problematic injury becomes an issue in the middle of the performance.
What Roger least had expected, though, was to be faced with someone who accidentally evoked painful memories of the most difficult decision of his life or even worse, that she happened to be a brilliant musician whose resemblance to himself and Brian was absolutely uncanny.
Naturally, he was sure she probably had nothing to do with him or everything he had given up. She was there just to aid the band when necessary and to serve as a painful reminder of what he had lost.
Or so he thought.Aka: The Lost!Baby Maylor story no one asked for.

After Scarif, Jyn spends four days unconscious in the Yavin 4 medbay. She sleeps through the annihilation of Alderaan, the sudden appearance of a young Jedi, and his subsequent near-miraculous destruction of her father’s legacy.
When she wakes, groggy and in pain, the amount of information that spills out of Bodhi simply flows over her, as if she were a river-stone in the fast-flowing streams on Lah’mu.
The only thing that does stick is that Cassian is alive. Bodhi is smart enough to open with this fact, and repeats it several more times during their one-sided conversation.
