Summary
Deuce stumbles into his dorm room--drunk, depressed, and seemingly broken beyond repair. At first Ace is unsympathetic. Why would he bother showing mercy to Deuce when he disturbed him in the middle of the night? But Ace has to come to terms with the fact that he's partially to blame for Deuce's shattered state. He tore down his friend without even realizing it and now their friendship is as fragile as ever. Deuce is ready to leave him, to heal his broken heart even if it means he never speaks to Ace again.
Ace refuses to let that happen.
