"Jacob, are you sure this is a good idea?" Kevin's condescending tone bordered on caustic sarcasm.
"Absolutely! It's like gummy worms in a cocktail!"
"Jakob, it's fucking salmiaki with vodka!

Summary
You lost a bet. Now you're stuck in a van with three Finland-Swedish men on a self-declared quest to find the greatest sauna known to mankind. You’re not sure what’s worse: Axel’s ridiculous dedication to “the true sauna experience”, Jakob’s dangerously endearing optimism, or the fact that Kevin keeps looking at you like he knows exactly what heat does to people.

Summary
Captain and Julian are friends… somehow.
They met in school, but it wasn’t very long before Captain enlisted for the army. And yet, despite their many differences and the years of limited contact, they maintained their unlikely friendship.
Now Julian is far on his way to becoming an MP, and Captain is retired from the army and exploring the world of professional wedding planning.
And they’re still friends.
No, they don’t understand either.
(A Modern AU Captain POV fic. Partly focussed on Capvers starting a relationship, but still with the Captain & Julian friendship at the centre)

Summary
He could do this – he could be proper, he could show his value and ensure he wasn’t a burden. He’d just need to treat this like one of his missions. Do or die. This would be no mean feat – the Captain grimly yet determinedly appreciated the enormity of his task set out before him; of ensuring Christmas Day was the best Havers, Violet and the kids have ever had. It would be his most challenging mission yet, it would be… ‘Operation: Keep Calm and Make the Perfect Christmas’.
