Summary
It’s been years since Khaslana left Aur, refusing to succeed his adoptive father Nanook’s position in the Syndicate. On the way back to Okhema City from an international conference, a layover puts him in his old hometown again. Khaslana has no desire to remain, but fate has other plans for him when the airport is taken over. In this time of crisis, he gets one phone call out.
Despite the summary, mostly holiday fluff.

Summary
Modern setting AU with some Sci-fi/modern Fantasy elements; the Black Tide is still an apocalyptic threat, twisting both the flesh and mind of living things who find themselves lost in it's dark dust storms and barren wastes. An enemy city state may be fuelling the Tide and it's threat with human experimentations and unknown goals.
Phainon, a prisoner of the experiments, is on the brink of giving up before an encounter with a certain intruder becomes his way out and could help bring him back to his feet. In return, he lands himself with a group at war with the Tide but also finds himself paired up with a guy who piques his interest in more ways than one.

Belobog is finally making its first real trade agreement with another planet, if only Seele can keep her team on track and out of trouble on this new world called Amphoreus. They've got their work cut out for them, if they're gonna impress the locals and get the agreement signed.
Hopefully it won't be so bad, now that she's made a friend (kidnapped a local) who is willing to be their guide around town! This Khaslana guy looks like he could use some cheering up, anyway. Phainon, meanwhile, has no idea how he got wrapped up in all this.
A story of grieving, recovery, making friends across the universe; and remembering how to be a person, one day at a time.

In desperation, Khaslana can only turn to his enemy for help—Nanook, the boss of the Ravager Syndicate, whom he encountered in the past, and had once made him an offer.
Nanook picks up the phone and makes a call. “Celenova. Bring in whoever you need. Find this person immediately.” He rapidly lists Khaos’ information. Command issued, he hangs up, crosses his arms, and closes his eyes.

Amphoreus was freed from its laboratory prison, now as real as any other planet. A year has passed. Phainon can look himself in a mirror and Mydei's getting used to the new rhythm of peace.
It's just their luck that the horrifically unexpected crashes into their lives again. Someone is claiming to be Phainon, and is leaving gifts for the prince while refusing to be seen. Mydei has to get to the bottom of this.

Summary
As the prophecy foretold, Era Nova had finally come… albeit far differently than expected.
While Phainon had lost all of the Chrysos Heirs, including Mydeimos himself, in exchange for their return from the Sea of Souls, they had seemingly lost Phainon.
Or, Mydei and his fellow Chrysos Heirs helping Phainon down the long road to recovery following the events of Amphoreus. And a lot of yearning from Mydei. So much Yearning, someone please help him.

"Hold on, please," Phainon says, grabbing hold of Mydei's arm in desperation, trying to keep him on the bed.
Mydei doesn't listen. He pulls himself free, striding across the room to tear open the curtains obscuring the only window. Outside the window, he can see the source of the light that had blinded him:
There is no newborn sun of the new dawn. Instead, Kephale's Dawn Device still towers over Okhema. Below them, the city is eerily quiet.
This is Okhema frozen in time, its citizens gone. Even the birds have been silenced. An afterimage of the past, of time together they'd sacrificed in search of the new sunrise. None of this can be real—a beautiful dream crafted to deceive him, only one that is now fraying at its edges, showing the rot underneath.
"If this is the Era Nova, then where is the sun we were promised?" Mydei whispers under his breath.

When Mydei gasps back to life after Amphoreus' last cycle, the world he returns to is no longer the one he remembers—and neither is Phainon waiting at his bedside.Or Mydei wakes up on the Herta Space Station.

A merman injured and down on his luck, Phainon is caught by poachers and put up in an underground auction. The man that purchases him is not what he expected.
“I’m Nanook of Adlivun,” the human says from the other side of the tank’s glass. “What’s your name?”
Phainon gives him a cold look, lips sealed. Since these humans want to hear his voice, he won’t give it to them. The human has got some nerve, asking something of Phainon when he’s keeping him chained and caged in this glass box.
Nanook shrugs. “I’ll just call you Fishy then.”
