Friar Lawrence knelt in his cell, sweat beading on his forehead and dripping onto his floor. It seemed that every single drop fell in accordance with his heartbeat, and it was a painful reminder that he was alive. Every beat of his heart, every pulse of his veins, every exhale of breath, everything was a bitter, cold, and persistent reminder of the fact that he was still here and they weren’t. The two young teenagers had held hands just days ago, gripped his arms with barely contained excitement, looked into each others’ eyes with such hope. Such wonder.
Such naiveté.
But he supposed he had been the naive one. Egotistical is what he should call himself, if he was being honest. He was one man. One lone man. Who was he to think that he could end a generations long feud with a marriage between the two most well-known heirs in Verona? He had known the risk and still tried to play God.
God had proven him wrong.
A scene exploring what Friar Lawrence might have felt in the days following the death of Romeo and Juliet, two children who he baptized, watched grow up, married, and then tried and failed desperately to save.

"Well, I don’t really want to have sex with you,” he lied. God, he was lying straight though his teeth. He wanted nothing more than to be with this man, fuck, it had been so long since he’d felt anyone’s touch. But he knew himself and his anxieties; there was no way he was going to be able to go through with this.
Aziraphale smirked. God, the businessman both hated and loved how clearly this man was able to read him like a book. “Yeah, sure. Like you said, I can read you very easily, uh, Crowley, was it? You very clearly want to have sex with a man, and I’m honored I’m here to help you realize it.”
“I’d feel so dirty paying you to have sex with me.” Why the hell was he oversharing with a prostitute?
“What if you don’t have to pay me?”
Crowley is a closeted CEO, kept safe in his secret with his spouse, Muriel, an asexual/aromantic who is more than happy to cover for him from his homophobic father. But when Crowley meets a certain male prostitute, his life is turned upside down. Especially when that man is ripped from underneath him by a man desperate to turn Aziraphale into nothing more than a whore.

Small tw for blood and injuries throughout the fic. Nothing super graphic, but it has been tagged as such just in case
"Hunch Curio was usually alone when he dragged a bloody and beaten body back to his apartment, and that body usually belonged to him and him alone. He would then typically ice his injuries, lamenting how easily his opponents had beaten him. It was for this reason that carrying along an unconscious individual over his shoulder like a shitty fireman made him stand out like a sore thumb. His neighbors who also rented spaces in the area knew he got beaten up on the regular, and it was normal, but carrying a new person with him was…well, suspicious was the wrong word, but it did deviate from the norm. And he wouldn’t have gone through the stares, whispers, and unwanted questions it brought for any other person.
Except Dan. He would do anything for that beautiful idiot of a man."
The office scene in episode 4, but I made it gayer and hunchfucks is already a long established thing.
