Todoroki Shouto had witnessed many deaths. He was unfortunately used to it. You couldn’t be the heir to the Todoroki Family mafia without developing a healthy amount of numbness, the skill of knowing when to look away, when to think about something else, when to leave the room…
… okay, maybe he was just numb. Unhealthily so. That was fine.
All he had to do was bite his tongue, fiddle with his tie, and schmooze with higher ups from other syndicates until it was either time to become the head of the family, or he did something so truly idiotic that his father disowned him. The latter option was probably a futile effort at this point. Who disowned their twenty-two year old? That probably wasn’t a thing.
But the heir to the Yagi Family—the Todorokis’ rival—had very nice eyes. They were green, like a forest, a lagoon, or like that aloe plant he had once tried to grow and somehow managed to kill…
The point was that Midoriya Izuku had magnetic eyes, and Shouto was fucked.
