And when you shine a light on them it's this glittering, fantastic thing, but then a lot of the time when the spotlight isn't on them they're just still there on a pedestal but nobody's watching them. Nico was the last one to walk into the classroom. Everyone was awkwardly standing, lining the room. The desks had been rearranged into rows of two. Nico pulled out one of his earbuds and caught the last of the teacher's sentence.
"-seats for the rest of the trimester unless under circumstances such as needing a closer seat due to your eyesight, which you can come talk to me about after class," Mrs. Wallace started going down the rows, pointing at desks and quickly rattling off names.

Summary
Prophecies have always been something that brings the demise of others. To have a prophecy said during the birth of Hades himself, the god of the underworld, was never something that should have happened. The titans who were there to witness it never said it to a soul, yet none of them knew that Hades had also heard it, and remembered it well.
The powerful words were never mentioned again, the secret being sealed away in Hades’s mind. That was, until the birth of Apollo. Hades never expected to be visited by Phoebe, let alone for those words to be spoken to him. Luckily, the being knew better than to utter the words in front of Zeus. Centuries later, when Apollo had discovered this prophecy, he knew that it could never be said in front of the king of the gods, especially since the children of the prophecy had already been born.
And thus, we start the story of Nico Di Angelo, the son of Hades, and William Andrew Solace, the son of Apollo, the children of the first prophecy.

NICO thought that he was okay... That he didn't need as much attention and recovery period compared to the first time he went to Tartarus, but each passing day, it's as if the world was trying to prove him wrong. Could it be that he was merely making himself believe this? He just wanted to be there for Will! And for that... He had to be strong, right? He thought he was okay, but is he really?
WILL still get nightmares ever since Tartarus, and can you blame him? He tried so hard to overcome his past struggles, but as Tartarus continues to torment him, said struggles began resurfacing, and it made him sick to be regressing. When can he truly start moving on? When can he start growing? What did he have to do to be as strong as Nico?! What did he have to do to grow away from his struggles for the second time? To turn this regression into progression? To overcome this helplessness that he always hated?
