Oscar doesn’t remember a time when he could keep his emotions to himself.
Plenty of people don’t seem to get it, and that’s fine. All they see is what Oscar manages to show the world, barely anything cracking through unless he can’t help it. They think he’s calm, collected, doesn’t have to deal with these pesky emotions on a regular basis.
But those who know him better can tell with one glance how he’s feeling, just by looking at his hair.

Oscar would like nothing better than to leave Miami behind after a conflicting weekend, but it seems like the universe has other plans. In between racing every day, trying to avoid Sainz and doing his best to ignore the reason why he wants to make Lando a coffee every morning, he’s now got to figure out how to get out of this time loop. He doesn’t know how yet, but he’s sure he’ll break the cycle any day now.

It's his favorite break activity, watching Oscar work on his miniatures when there's a lull in the crowd, followed by bothering Carlos and begging food off Max. If he gets a free pastry now and then, it's all the better.
Well, not free. He always makes sure to bring a cup of hot chocolate when he ambles over, topped with exactly three marshmallows. The payment doesn't feel adequate, though, not when the stuff Oscar sells is downright orgasmic.
Speaking of orgasmic.
He cranes his neck, peeking at Oscar's current project. "What's that meant to be?"
"What, the figurine?"
"Yeah." Lando squints, then gasps. "Is it– Oscar, are you making a dildo?"
OR
Lando works the drinks stall at a Christmas market, and Oscar takes up the stall across from his. Lando tries very hard not to fuck it up.

Summary
It’s under-exposed and grainy, clearly caught with frantic hands before either of them had the chance to notice the phone camera pointed at them. Just barely discernible in the low light, Oscar is leaning against the wall outside some nondescript building in Monaco with his head thrown back, laughing in that stupid, exaggerated way he always seems to when Lando Norris is involved. Lando’s not fully facing the camera, but his hair and side profile give him away. He’s pressing a kiss to the corner of Oscar’s mouth, one hand tangled in the hair at the back of his neck while the other rests on his waist. It is, unfortunately, the kind of photo a person could stare at forever. Tangible evidence of a life well-lived and well-loved.
OR: Oscar and Lando get outed, and the world keeps turning.

“You’ve got to be joking.”
Lando falters. “Sorry?”
“Mate. This is a bit much, even for you.”
It comes out flat. Annoyed. Genuinely irritated, in a way that Oscar’s never been towards him before. The euphoria that had buoyed Lando all through the tense cooldown room, the awkward press conference, the stilted team debrief, finally starts to fade.
Lando gets the sinking feeling that he might’ve miscalculated a little.

Or: Lando, as always, picks Oscar for the 2025 Silverstone Winner's Room. Oscar refuses. Feelings and realisations abound, and they finally have the conversation they probably should've back when they first started doing this.
