Ilya has heard many stories in his life; about siblings' clothes, old toys and battered hockey equipment, stories of families so unlike his own, where all he inherited was rage, pain and resentment. Now, all he can think of is the history that hides behind the love and worn-down items that now take place in his life, like David’s old leather jacket that he now gets to claim as his own or the family recipes Yuna writes down for him to try.He thinks of the newfound sense of belonging he encountered in Ottawa, and the families he formed— with the Hollanders and the Centaurs, and wonders if there’s a need for more.
Or, a surprise visit from Russia threatens to change Ilya’s family structure forever. It doesn’t have to be something bad.

Summary
Six months ago, Shane’s intimate conversation and break-up with Rose Landry was recorded and leaked. In those six months, his life had completely upended and everything had changed, for better or for worse. Except for Ilya. He still has Ilya, and he’s beginning to understand that he always will.
It’s 2018. Shane Hollander has to figure out his new life, in a new city, on a new team, while being out to the world but not by his own choice. Ilya, along for the ride, also has to learn what it means to be connected to a place, to a person, and to his own inner truth.
(Sequel to “something you can fix,” set post-Heated Rivalry, pre-The Long Game)

Summary
AU where Shane dated Jackie (when he was 17/she was 18), before she Clocked His Sweet Gay Ass, kept his secret and his friendship, and then met Hayden. Shortly thereafter, they meet Ilya.
(Because I love an outsider POV on Hollanov and an earlier outing for Shane, but I'm also really into our collective love for WAG president, Mrs. Jackie Pike. This is a Jackie Pike Character Takeover AU wherein she's a bit of an amalgamation of Shane’s in-book, vaguely alluded-to teenage girlfriend, and Rose before Rose Rose’d lol.)

Summary
“This is Ilya. Rozanov. But you already know that. He’s visiting and we’re—” Ilya refused to let him drown in front of his parents, he gave them the bluntest truth he had: “Lovers.”
“Ilya—no. That’s gross.”
And Ilya (who had spent years being careless but was trying to be careful and worthy) in that moment decided that if they were doing this, then they were doing it properly. Because they're not lovers. Not after last night, when Ilya’s “I could marry Svetlana” had caused Shane Hollander looked at him like he’d rather commit a murder-suicide than let him go... and proposed.
“Engaged. We’re engaged.”
If he gave his future father-in-law a heart attack, was that a bad start… or just proof Shane Hollander really had made him recklessly in love?
