The idea for this came from a Tumblr post, but I changed it to make it my own – added some more conflict to make it more dramatic because you should never write at two am while jetlagged. He’d killed a young factory worker on the way home from shift without so much as a thought, then been off to Antoinette’s. It was a shame she’d stopped singing. His life would be a bit more socially balanced if she were.
