Harry stepped in front, still holding the first year's hand and walked up to McGonagall, the source of the footsteps being her continuous pacing while she stared down at a few parchments in her hand. Soon enough, she caught sight of them and paused her movements, glancing curiously at the three first years trailing behind one of her most troublesome lions.
"Mr Potter? Is everything alright?" She asked, motioning to the girls with concern now emanating from her eyes. Once again, Alicia felt a hopeful feeling throb in her chest.
"No, Professor. I hate to speak out against another teacher-" in an instant McGonagall's face hardened, but instinctively, Alicia knew it was neither directed towards her nor the others with her. It was additionally amusing to hear the undertone of sarcasm in Harry's words, a tone that the professor easily brushed past. "- but Professor Umbridge has been giving some unique punishments. I'm not sure if you're aware of them?"
