Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.

Okay, this is a lot more nerve wracking than Hitoshi thought.
Logically he knows that Dad and Hizashi wouldn't care about him being bisexual, or they'd be huge hypocrites. But this is still not easy, at least for Hitoshi.
OR:
Shinsou comes out to his parent(s), filled to the brim with nerves, but he and Midoriya agreed to do it. So here he is.

Summary
Sometimes, Hitoshi pretended that Sensei was his dad. He'd never admit it in a thousand years, but sometimes when Aizawa patted his head or praised him for finally pulling off a move he'd been struggling with — he imagined that Todoroki was right.
Hitoshi always gave off that he was annoyed about Todoroki’s insistence that he was their teacher's secret love child, but in his head, he wished for it more than anything in the world. He wished that it was Aizawa and Yamada that he went home to every night instead of the Fukushimas. That he could call Eri his little sister instead of just someone he wished he could be.
(Or, stuck in an abusive foster home, Hitoshi is on the edge of his rope.)

Eraserhead only smiled, “Go on then.”
For some reason suddenly embarrassed, Shinsou shrugged his shoulders. He knew it wasn’t very heroic of him to do it, but he couldn’t find any other way to get Eraserhead’s attention, and he needed it if he wanted to become a hero himself. It was impossible for him to be accepted into any proper hero school due to his quirk, which he was told plenty of times already, but surely the hero like Eraserhead would know some ways to teach him and make something out of him despite that, right?
“Um. I know– I know about, hm, Hizashi.”

“Historically, it has,” Bakugou deadpanned, rolling his eyes as he shoved Shinsou toward the bathroom. “The food’s not going anywhere, dumbass.”

Bakugou wasn’t a fan of Christmas—never had been, and he could easily do without all the fuss. But this year was different. This year was special. And while he wasn’t exactly brimming with holiday cheer, he was determined to make it the best Christmas yet, because his boyfriend deserved nothing less.

“Don’t mock my genius.” The purple haired hero student stuck another knife-full of nutella in his mouth. Katsuki hoped that was his personal jar, not the shared jar in the pantry. “You’re just jealous I make this look good.”

“Are you going to stop me?” Hitoshi asks when the silence goes on for a little too long.
“Do you want me to?” Aizawa's eye contact burns and Hitoshi's shoulders hunch. He can't help feeling ashamed, like he's disappointed the only person whose opinion has ever mattered to him.
“Since when has what I wanted mattered?” Hitoshi retorts bitterly, recalling the blank expression, not too dissimilar to the current one, on Aizawa's face as Hitoshi's life was uprooted and shattered against the wall. There was sympathy in the man's eyes; sympathy that, evidently, didn't move him enough to stop the social worker from spending hours violating every inch of Hitoshi's privacy and autonomy.
Aizawa’s frown deepens. “It matters now.”
or: aizawa walks in on hitoshi trying to kill himself. it goes about as well as you think.
