Summary
The closest Alastor's ever gotten to romance comes in the form of—in order of increasing hilariousness—a couple of botched youthful attempts at kissing, cheap mass-produced smut comics, and the wildly entertaining tales of other people's sordid affairs.
He's never wanted sex. He's never wanted love. He's never seen a problem with this.
It's taken about a century, but he's pleasantly surprised to discover that the rest of the world is finally starting to catch up with his perspective.
More than anything else, he’s pleased that these new modern attitudes have given him extra opportunities for bad puns.

Bookmarker's Notes
Honestly, I think this is my favorite story ever. I like the progression throughout it as well as the eventual acceptance.

Summary
"What's a crush?"
A six-year-old Alastor begins his understanding of romantic pursuits with this question, and his confusion about the answer lasts longer than he feels it should. As an adult, he still doesn't understand why his peers lose their good sense towards members of the opposite sex. He even considers that he might be into men, but he keeps his wits about him around every gender. Perhaps he just needs to try his hand at romance and then he'll understand?

Summary
Alastor doesn't understand attraction, the whole thing made his head hurt, so when Angel makes a comment about flirting all he can do is question: "wait, am I in love with Angel Dust?!"
OR: Aroaces suck at distinguishing types of attraction and Alastor is no exception.

The way I've done this several times over multiple friendships
