Feels dumb when he blurts out, “Follo?”
“Mhm, he was real worried about you missing dinner. Wanted to make sure someone brought you something.” Enjin states, reaching up to rub at his chin in a theatrical display of thoughtfulness. “You know, he could have just brought it himself.”
or
Zanka is injured, and Follo’s reaction forces them to confront unfamiliar feelings.

Follo remembers when he had first seen Zanka in vivid clarity. It was a cold day in the north ward, toxic snow drifted lazily to the ground as it always did. The sight was a strange mix of toxicity and beauty in this awful world he lived in. The murmuring of the same people he always spoke to droned around him, except there was a spark of something different in the air that day. He had run there, afraid of who he might see, one of the faceless mob, leaning forward to get a single look, a single taste of those that were brave, those that were special. Afraid to see that he had remained here whilst his friend had succeeded him. He hadn't seen his friend though, instead his breath was caught. He understood the mob at once, this was the sight of someone special.

“It was some guy you grew up with or somethin’, right?” Zanka reaches forward and grabs Follo’s shoulder. “That’s fine, I don’t really care.”
Zanka pushes and Follo’s back hits the bed. He bounces once then feels the mattress dip as Zanka places one knee then the other on either side of his waist before climbing directly on top of him.

Summary
The first time Zanka had ever been touched without it aching in some way was by a new supporter who’d placed his gloved hand on the small of his back to help steady him while walking across uneven terrain. At the time he hadn't even noticed, the lack of consequence from the firm press slipped by as they completed their mission. It was when he was alone that night stripping off his uniform that he noticed the scuff of dirt, the memory of the supporter’s gentle guidance slammed to the forefront.
Follo Tunito had managed to touch him without any misery.

"Come here and get these done," Zanka points at the clothes he had just gathered, the way he holds the laundry basket on his hip, gets Enjin thinking that he looks like an angry mother.
And angering a mother is something that Enjin definitely doesn't want to deal with.
He also may think of the word wife but quickly shoves it to the back of his head. He doesn't want to deal with that either.
Or, 5 times Zanka acts like Enjin's (male)wife and one time when he actually becomes one.

Summary
Quietly, the two lightkeepers sat down on a two-seater bench and admired the moonlight peeking through the darkness and fog. Since Illuga has nothing to do on New Years, he figures he could visit the lonesome lightkeeper, who’s always seemingly huddled away at the Final Night Cemetery.
As usual, there are two glasses of warm water waiting for him. And a not-so-descretely hidden bucket of water in the corner of the toppled metal boxes. Once Illuga finishes drinking his cups of water, Flins notices that his left ear is facing inflammation. Although he initially refused, Illuga is now suddenly getting treatment from the mysterious lightkeeper.
During this, Illuga finally gets a few glimpses on who Flins really is. And, perhaps just a stretch, guessing if Flins is a human or not?
TLDR; Flins helps Illuga treat his ear and they talk about the new year coming.
