Summary
In a world where less than 1% of the population has wings, it's considered rude to discuss them. So when Tim begins to experience a painful itching in his back, he doesn't know what's happening to him. Confusion soon gives way to fear as his condition worsens and wings begin to burst from his back.

Summary
Bruce has benched Jason from patrol- for no good reason. Thankfully, Jason’s had a lot of experience with unreasonable father figures. He knows exactly how to rectify the situation.
Jason has a special trick. It could calm Willis's bad moods, and once he got more daring, Jason even used it to ask for things: a new notebook for school that Catherine didn't have the cash to pay for, or bumming a cigarette. It was easy with his special technique. Since moving into the manor, Jason hasn't needed to use it. Now, Jason needs Bruce to stop being mad and let him back on patrol. A heavy rock sits in his stomach as he stands outside the thick oak doors to Bruce's office.
Two weeks, he reminds himself. Two weeks with no patrol. Ten minutes on his knees could change that.

Summary
Tim should be excited, right?
He had asked for this, spent weeks hoping it would work out. Tim wanted this. Wanted to move in with the Waynes, wanted desperately to not be so alone anymore.
And yet, for some reason, he didn't feel better. It was as though he'd been set adrift, none of the anchors of his old life left to cling to. No rocks, no routines. And even though everything at Wayne Manor was better, it was so very different.
Or: When you're autistic, even the best changes can still be overwhelming. The Manor comes with more interaction, with more noise, with more life and Tim doesn't know how to handle it. Things come to a head with the first meltdown Tim's had outside of his carefully constructed hiding place.
The biggest change of all is that now there are people to catch Tim when he's falling.

The Joker teasingly calls himself Jack Napier, but his real name isn’t too far off: Jack Drake. And his son knows it all too well.
