Alphas and omegas can never just be friends. At least, that’s what the media keeps saying. They need to be something: rivals, lovers, etc.
Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, the press says, have a lot in common: both are top picks for their draft year and both are hockey superstars. Yet the press also says they couldn’t be more different, pitting the two players against each other from the start, as representatives of their classifications, alpha vs. omega.
Shane Hollander is the golden boy of the NHL, a friendly omega, and one of the quickest players the league has seen. Ilya Rozanov, the big bad Russian alpha, notorious for his flashy lifestyle, aggressive gameplay, and unafraid of getting physical.
The media frequently use the two players as foils to each other. Now that the two are on the same team, how would they get along? Can omegas and alphas truly just be friends?
