Caine doesnt want them to leave— and he doesnt see why they would want too! Everything was perfect! Way more exciting than that dull macroverse, full of bright colours, extravaganza and adventure! With him as their Ring Master, they should never be bored, or sad, or unsatisfied! There were so many good things about the Circus after all. Maybe they just need a reminder!
Sure, his last adventure hadnt gone too well, but this one was sure to send nostalgia through their digital bones and prove to them that the Circus wasnt as bad as they made it out to be— he'd make sure of that, he wouldnt fail them, he would prove he could still put on a great show!

Post ep7, Caine brings the cast down memory lane, warping them through another set of rapid fire adventures— and a journey through their minds!
(It doesnt go as expected, turns out Caine had to delete a few... unsavourable memories from his own storage which end up being brought to the surface)

Summary
Pomni and the other five digital circus survivors wake up to find that the nightmare they’ve been living for the past several years was an experimental therapy gone wrong. Though much of what they experienced was an illusion, the deaths of the abstracted were very real. It is now up to them to seek justice while trying to reintegrate into their mundane lives.
This is not a direction that I think the show will or should go- it’s just a canon-divergent AU that I thought I could tell an interesting story with.

Or: Caine glitches during an update and accidentally opens up the cellar, letting out all the abstracted cast members that were supposed to stay locked away forever. Jax shows he cares more than he lets on.

They get out the circus!! They have to handle a LOT of things they hadn't expected, they tackle a lot of issues AND they figure out a lot of the technical details about how the circus works (I even wrote code for this fic!)

With a gasp the Human’s body straightened, rigid, eyes wide as he finally took in his surroundings, starting with the Shadow who had helped him. His eyes squinted at the mass, the Shadow's own form changing to match that of the human, and a glint of recognition appeared in his face. With that, the Shadow’s suspicions were confirmed.
His master was alive. Alastor was alive. Much too alive.

Summary
Alastor does not believe in safety.
Safety implies trust. Implies permanence. Implies that something in Hell can exist without teeth bared behind its smile.
Preparedness, however, is simple. It is leather reinforced at the ribs. Structured stitching beneath a pressed shirt and a pristine coat. It is a waist drawn tight enough to remind the body that it is still contained.
Every morning, before the smile is set in place and the microphone cane is retrieved from its stand, he fastens the belt.
It is insurance, not decorative or indulgent or vane. His Sin is not Envy, nor is it Lust.
Hell is opportunistic. Slights fester. Power shifts. Blades are conversational punctuation.
He has learned — quite thoroughly — that comfort invites curiosity, and curiosity invites violence.
So he doesn't let himself relax and give in to comfort.
And eventually, those at the Hotel notice.

Summary
Alastor has been infected with a virus that needs his body in order to survive because it killed the previous hosts it tried to house in. Fortunately (depending on how you look at it) the virus is neither strong enough to completely subdue Alastor's conscientiousness nor weak enough to be overcome. Which brings both him and the virus to a standstill.
The solution? Keep an unresponsive and lethal Alastor contained and under lockdown before he can perform another massacre, whilst they try to find a cure for the disease.
And maybe try not to kill him in the process, either.

It takes place in the modern day. Alastor and Vox are secretly in love and they get engaged. Due to the nature of their established rivalry and Alastor's reputation as a heartless, cold-blooded killer, no one believes he agreed to the marriage of his own free will. Under the impression that Vox has hypnotized Alastor, Charlie embarks on a mission to rescue him from the Media Overlord.
Trying to capture a livid Radio Demon who very much does NOT want to be "saved" goes as well as expected.

Summary
Post S2 Rosie reminds Alastor he may be out of the deal, but he’s still not out of her zoo. Their deal that he would be the strongest sinner in Hell did not necessarily mean that he would be able to control those powers.
Alastor loses his gifts from Rosie, including the deer hoodoo spirit that turns him back into a helpless human in Hell. The shadows no longer work for him, and rebel in the most torturous way possible: by humiliating him in front of a newly defeated Vox. However, does Vox take pity or does he take advantage of the situation?
