    The unthinkable has happened: Midoriya Izuku and Kirishima Ejirou, previous social caretakers of the most unfriendly introverts in Class 3-A, have gotten girlfriends. This, of course, means that a chaotic new companionship gets formed in the echo chamber of a pair of extremely reclusive and socially bizarre classmates when their "normal" best friends leave them to their own devices.

    One night, Todoroki Shouto and Bakugou Katsuki, said introverts, come up with a highly competitive romantic bet while nursing broken hearts over the sunshiney yet apparently straight dudes in their lives. The game: play matchmaker and find the other the perfect "gay and insane" boyfriend by the school festival. Naturally, due to their extremely competitive natures, growing closeness with each other, and complete mutual lack of social and emotional skills, The Bet immediately goes off the rails and spirals into something that U.A. has never seen before.
