    And in the center of it all was the Hylians, and their throne of generations.

    War is coming and a young vai and a young girl are caught in the middle.

    Link was raised among the scourges of the desert.

    Zelda among the nobles of Hylia.

    They say that you forge a closer bond with people in the fires of adversity. Maybe that's true, or maybe there's some other, stronger power building a bond out of the ashes of war.

    But while the adults engage in their squabbles and lives are on the line, there may be something much worse on the horizon.

    Looking good, I'm on chapter 28, but the updates seem to be decently often. Almost reminds me of that LoZ webtoon 'Growing Up Gerudo' where Link is raised with the Gerudo but that's moreso Twilight Princess lore and I don't think it has a tran female character.

    Also, because people sometimes seem to think it is: this is not your tranny-approved ticket for a guilt-free Potter fix, don't get in my ear about how this makes you feel less guilty about engaging with the fandom. It's explicitly meant to critique Potter and its writer, and I am not a Harry Potter fan. It's just in the form of a story because that's what I'm good at. This is not a work of fandom, no highly esteemed story is commemorated here.

    I'm finished, this fic is fricking astounding, genuinely leagues and bounds better than the originals. My only complaint that I personally have is that Ariadne is far more studious than canon!Harry, and while I understand found family over blood family aka nurture over nature is probably the reason the author chose to make Ariadne like that, it does have her and Hermoine filling similar roles a lot. A problem which is solved latter by then being in different classes and having different focuses in magic.
