Luffy est un soleil. Un énorme, magnifique, grandiose soleil qui attire toutes âmes sensibles gravitant autour de lui. Zoro, lui, n'échappe pas à la règle. Il est même tombé pour le garçon au chapeau de paille un peu plus vite, un peu plus fort que les autres. Pourtant, Zoro n'est pas amoureux de Luffy, ça non, mais il pourrait certainement donner sa vie pour lui. C'est comme ça, c'est tout.

« Une conspiration ! Une intrigue ! Un complot qui s'épaissit à vue d’œil ! Il ne manque qu'un brin de bestialité et un prélat lubrique pour tenir le début d'un magnifique roman. »
Après avoir récupéré le manuscrit de Condorcet, Sade s'est consacré à une autre étude en la personne d'Arno. Ce dernier, après avoir refusé l'Égypte, reste suspendu entre deux mondes et souvent à la fenêtre de sa chambre. Mais Saint-Denis est trop vide, trop petite… Comme en écho à l'ironie délicieuse d'il y a quelques années, le Marquis se voit forcé de quitter ses quartiers : on veut sa mort. Et Arno doit trouver une solution.
Finalement, il ne manque que le prélat lubrique.

C'est beau, le Monde Imaginaire. C'est coloré, les sirènes chantent depuis leur lagune, les pirates fendent la mer et les enfants volent dans les airs. C'est vraiment beau, le Monde Imaginaire. Dommage que ce soit un cimetière.

Arno est perdu, et vide. Enfin, c'est ce qu'il croit, mais son entourage a bien remarqué le flot de pensées qui l'assiège à chaque instant, et surtout quand un certain Premier Consul est en jeu.
Quant à De Sade, c'est surtout l'occasion de s'amuser un peu, particulièrement quand un voleur s'accorde avec ses plans.

Summary
Tedesco is searching Bellini’s face up and down in stupefied frustration, making a discovery he’s missed a hundred times before, lower lip twitching, hopelessly trying to fish out useful words. At first Lawrence is tempted to say Aldo’s audacity infuriates him, but the rage comes too late.
The truth is, it doesn’t seem like it wants to come out at all.
Then Tedesco’s face colours, oddly pinkier than usual. “... Eminenza Bellini.”
Cardinal Bellini blows the smoke back. Cardinal Tedesco, much to his chagrin, is stirred.

Summary
Francis Crozier runs the Franklin Zoo, which, much to his despair, is a job that consists more of paperwork than of zoology. James Fitzjames, meanwhile, is quite happy in his position as the Zoo's Director of Operations... though he would like to try some other... positions... if only his aggravatingly handsome boss could tolerate his presence for more than a few minutes.
It is an uncomfortable, unsatisfying situation, but a manageable one for all parties involved.
At least until things begin going mysteriously, horrifically wrong at the Franklin Zoo.
