Summary
Scar let out a heavy sigh, starting to push away from his desk before pausing for a moment, shaking his head, then leaning forward again, his quill continuing to glide along the parchment. He wasn’t ready yet, surely whoever had come to collect him could wait a few minutes longer. Or a few hours. Or a few years, actually.
It wasn’t as if he didn’t want to go on this trip. He knew just how important it was, and how privileged he was that he got to go on it, but-
Well, it wasn’t quite what he’d been hoping for. For a powerful mage such as himself (or, well - future powerful mage, that is) this was perhaps the most important journey he’d make in his lifetime. His pilgrimage to the Crystal Fountain, the source of magic itself, the very journey he’d spent his entire life working towards. He should be excited. He was excited.
At least, he had been, until he found out that he wasn’t to make the journey alone.
Or, in which the vex prince sets out on a magical journey of a lifetime, and an unassuming avian knight is dragged along for the ride.

Summary
The day after Scar breaks up with Grian, the dead come back to life. Knowing that venturing out alone is a death sentence, the sudden onset of the apocalypse forces them to stick together despite the tensions between them. In the wreckage of the world, they're forced to survive side-by-side, coming to terms with the fact that—try as they might—there's no one they trust more than each other.
“Go!” Grian shouts as the monster charges, putting his whole force into the blow.
Scar watches, frozen stiff as Grian fights until blood and gore and viscera mark the creature up like a Pollock painting.
“What are you waiting for?!” Grian snaps when he finally notices that Scar is still standing there. He grips his weapon tight and attacks a final time, slamming the zombie down—good and dead—and standing panting over top of it, strained but victorious. He starts rushing from the scene, calling back for Scar over his shoulder. “Run!”
And in a way that’s as familiar to him as breathing, Scar chases after him.

Scar pulled up his chat history with Grian one final time. Each of his messages were still lacking replies. Each still completely unread.
"No." Scar said sternly. "I'm coming with you."
Pearl seemed surprised by his reply, but she made no objection.
"Xisuma?" Scar said, holding the comm up to his ear once again.
"Scar, what is going on? Why are you and Pearl still there?"
Scar didn't answer his question, he only kept talking. "Cub owes me a favor. Tell him to take care of Jellie while I'm gone."
Before X could say anything back, Scar had hung up. He looked back up at Pearl, a strong feeling of determination settling in his bones.
"I'm not jumping to Season 10 yet. Not unless it's with Grian."
Pearl nodded, understanding him perfectly. "Then let’s go find him."

Or, Scar wakes up the morning after Secret Life ends to find that Grian is missing. On top of that, despite being the winner, his memories of all the past games haven’t returned to him. Him and the other previous winners of the traffic games suspect something is up, so they all hatch a plan to get Grian back and end the cycle of death games once and for all.

“Why don’t you tell me things?” Scar whispers. He leans forward and presses a kiss to the bridge of his nose, below-between his eyebrows, gentle.
“We’re - Scar, we’re in public.”
“Everyone is in class.”
“We’re not,”“Well, we’re special, aren’t we?” he murmurs, corners of his mouth quirking upwards. “Romeo and Juliet.”
“We’re not them,” Grian mutters, and it comes out bitter. Scar hums. He kisses his jaw. “And what happens if someone sees us?”
“We tell them it’s just method,” Scar says. His eyes are piercing. “Isn’t it?”

Grian thinks there might be something seriously wrong with this college play - Romeo and Juliet - and that it might even be connected to those strange visions that keep getting worse. And really, he needs to stop sneaking around with his Juliet, Scar Goodtimes, because people are going to find out about their… situation, if he isn’t more careful. And he really, really doesn’t want that. Especially not when Taurtis is in the play as well.

Summary
Grian felt a hand graze near his hair. He quickly turned and glared at the man.
“Keep your hands off me or I’ll shackle you again, Hermes.” He threatens, reaching for his taser instinctively.
The prisoner says something, to which Grian simply rolls his eyes, checks the clock and takes a step forwards, away from the cell so the man can’t reach him again.
Thank the gods his shift was almost over.
A click of the lock and a turn of the knob brings him back to reality. He doesn’t even take the time to speak to or even really look at the substitute before he storms out of the room.or
Grian is guarding two super villains' cells and one seems to be interested in him.
AUTHORS NOTE: please tell me if you find any typo's/things that seem weird, I write notes for myself and dont re-read my own chapters. Sometimes I forget to take out my notes lmao
