Summary
At first, it'd been the heat of the the post-mission rush; the Winter Soldier dragging Tony off to fuck, and Barnes bringing him 'I'm sorry my psychopathic alter-ego fucks you until you can't stand' coffee in the morning. Later, it'd started happening without the preamble of being in possible mortal danger.
It's a pretty nice setup. Tony gets pulled apart with delicious machine precision, and he and Barnes have finally become comfortable being in the same room.
Neat, clean, simple.
Until Barnes surfaces, during.

Bruce grits his teeth. “I don’t know what you want me to say,” he snaps. “None of us have ever seen this before, Tony. This bug never even existed until Bucky caught it. We’re charting new territory here. So, tell me, you have any bright ideas?”
Tony deflates, promptly. “No, no, I fucking don’t.” He shakes his head, bitterly. “It shouldn’t happen like this. He shouldn’t have to linger on any of it, any of that torment and suffering and misery and fucking horror those evil bastards put him through. It’s not fucking fair.” He jumps off the bed. “I’m, uh, I’m going to re-wet these rags. They’re getting a little dry,” he mutters, in an attempt to vacate the current situation as soon as possible, just for a little bit, so he can get his head on straight.
“Mission Report: December 16th, 1991.”
Tony reels to a stop, just in front of the bathroom door. When he turns around, a shuddering sort of stillness hangs in the air, like everyone’s terrified that a pin is going to drop and destroy everything.
Well, everyone except for Bucky, who groans like he’s dying and stares at Tony with filmy eyes.
“Howard Stark,” he pants. “Maria Stark.”

Summary
They had spent a long time discussing it. Zemo had seemed equally surprised and excited by the request, but he was adamant that they be very thorough in setting their boundaries. They talked about what to do if anything went wrong, safety measures, how to efficiently disarm Bucky (no pun intended) should the need arise.
Bucky knew it was what he wanted- after all, he’d been the one to suggest it in the first place. Still, talking about how it could go wrong just helped reinforce his belief that he was nothing more than a killing machine.

Months after the Avengers' dispute in Germany, the team returns to the US and moves back into the tower. As always, everyone pretends that nothing happened. Tony is just fine with this. He's used to pretending, and he'll be damned if he lets any of them see him flinch.
Tony's the bad guy, after all. He's used to it. He's fine with it. He's good at it.
Only now, there's something far worse loitering around the tower - The Winter Soldier. No one notices the guy at first, but when they do, Tony figures that he should have the soldier's back.

Based off this wonderful anon prompt I received:ABO Stucky where Bucky doesn't remember being Steve's alpha until Steve runs out of the scent blockers and heat suppressants he used to hide his depression over losing his alpha and not deal with heats alone. He thought he'd be alright to deal with his untimely heat, Bucky on a mission for another week. So Steve could whimper and cry out for his alpha in peace while using toys. But Bucky comes home and the scent of Steve in heat brings EVERYTHING back.
