Leona Evergreen was just another student at school, nothing unusual. She was the most independent person she knew, living on her own but with a balance of social interaction from her friends and.. suddenly someone she didn’t expect.
The last few months before summer break was the most gruelling experience of her life. The school therapist wouldn’t get off her back, teachers weren’t bothered to control a class and the students within the class went absolute apeshit after a spark of mischief and mystery circled the town.
She hoped this summer would be different.

Summary
It's been a good year on Dream Island, and strange things are happening. Buildings are getting ruined, wrecked or vandalised. Recovery centres on the island get tinkered with. People keep hearing horrifying sounds at night, like screams and bellows.
And every so often, someone gets attacked.
The person doing this looks a lot like one of their old friends. Someone they left on the outside of the gates and tried forgetting about.
It's not her. They know that.
It's got red skin. And wide eyes. And it never speaks. It teleports. It looks like her, its body is the same. But the mind is not her. A killer mind. One who acts as a predator. Wanting to cause chaos and ruin people's lives, be it through fear like a nightmare, or irritation like a scab.
It's hurting them.
And nothing works.
So... maybe they should open the gates for her?
After all, she's the only one it's known to not attack. So she can help them.
But.......would she?
